3rd History & Philosophy of Cosmology Conference - Athens

The third History & Philosophy of Cosmology conference, organised by Antonis Antoniou et al. on behalf of the COSMOS network, will take place in Athens from 6 till 9 July 2026.

COSMO-MASTER Events

The COSMO-MASTER team organises two international conferences—on the spacetime–matter distinction (1-2 Sept 2025) and on the philosophy of astronomy and cosmology (3-5 Sept 2025)—and four workshops—on inflation (24 May 2024), black holes (12 Nov 2024), dark energy (13 Jan 2025), and spin-2 gravity (22 April 2026).

Reading Group Modelling and Representation in Physics

A weekly online reading group discussing philosophy of science literature on modelling and representation, and how it broadly applies to various areas in physics, from theoretical physics to engineering. Taking place from 2 February till 30 March 2026.
