Language and speech: processing and disorders

The ‘Language and speech: processing and disorders’ research group studies language and speech processing in healthy – monolingual and bilingual – individuals, and in people with language-related neurocognitive deficiencies, either innate (SLI, dyslexia) or acquired (aphasia).

An overarching theoretical goal is to shed light on the dynamic interactions of, and the division of labour between linguistic and extra-linguistic components in language processing and language acquisition.

We contribute to innovations of diagnostics and intervention for adults and children with language and speech difficulties.
