Organisation & Information
Information Technologies have become an integral part of our lives, providing many new opportunities.
We live in a golden-age of information and Information Technologies (IT). Every day more users integrate more technologies in their daily lives, and companies heavily rely on both the input and output from digital sources.
At the Center for Organisation and Information we conduct research, and provide education, on the usage and deployment of Information Technology in organisations and society. Information Technologies have become an integral part of our lives and its adoption throughout all layers of society and all layers of technical understanding provides many new and interesting challenges and opportunities.
The scope of our research includes:
- Requirements Engineering
- Software for Organisational Responsibility
- Software Ecosystems
Related to those research areas services are provided to organisations in the private as well as public sector. The members of the Center give courses and coach students in the bachelor programs Information Science and Computer Science. The Center has an international master program Business Informatics (MBI) with students from all over the world.
As a group, we are always interested in research collaborations; both with research institutes as well as companies. Please contact us if you want to discuss opportunities for collaboration.
Organization and Information is one of the research groups of the division Intelligent Software Systems within the department of Information and Computing sciences.
