Biography

Dr. Xudong Wu is an Assistant Professor at Westlake University. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Biological Science from Fudan University and his PhD from Yale University. During his postdoctoral work at Harvard Medical School, he developed a method called “Legobody” for facilitating cryo-EM analysis of small proteins. In his laboratory, he seeks to understand how cells maintain proteostasis on different organelles. His team is also dedicated to developing new nanobody-based technologies to regulate therapeutically important membrane protein targets for combating diseases.
