How do AI and data technologies and practices change our society and thereby the context in which existing laws apply? How should the law respond to these changes? How can AI and data aid in applying, enforcing and understanding the effect of legal rules? The Platform “Interdisciplinary Studies on Data, AI and Law” (DAI) studies the interaction between the data- and AI-related developments in technology and society on the one hand, and EU law on the other.
