Postdoc Network Utrecht

Postdoc Network Utrecht (PNU) aims to connect all postdocs (and any other interested (scientific) personnel) to unite them, make efforts to improve postdoc life, and act as a liaison between all relevant parties within the UU and UMC.

By recognising the gap between the needs of postdocs and the support and resources available, PNU aims to be an additional resource for postdocs navigating onboarding, career development, and networking. 

Events

PNU organises events focused on career development and networking opportunities for postdocs. For these events we invite speakers of various backgrounds, with topics such as careers outside academia, open science, funding opportunities, mentorship, mental health, or work-life balance.

Members

As a member of PNU, you are part of a local community of colleagues who are employed as postdocs. You can become a member by contacting us at pnu@uu.nl. We will then add you to our mailing list, and keep you updated on ongoing activities.

Board

The board of PNU currently consists of five postdocs representing different faculties. The PNU is always looking for people who are interested in joining the board or who want to actively contribute in other ways. We would greatly appreciate any input and ideas that could benefit postdocs of all backgrounds. If you are interested, please do not hesitate to reach out.
