What motivates staff? What can we do to make sure no one is excluded? How do we tackle inappropriate behaviour on the work floor? What ways are open to staff members to make their voices heard? And how do we improve organisational culture?
These are the questions we set out to find answers to, based on the research carried out at the Diversity and Integrity lab at Utrecht University. Our focus, and that of the organisations we work with, lies on group processes and how they influence individual behaviour. At the same time we want to forge a link between theory and practice - by embedding our research findings in organisations and institutions and applying standardised research methods to practical issues.
