In 2026 the Faculty of Social and Behavioural Sciences started with its Diamond Open Access Fund. In the first application round the faculty has awarded three journals with financial support.
Since 2025, the Faculty of Humanities has set aside part of its library budget to support the shift from subscription content to open and equitable scholarly communication, in the form of a Diamond Open Access Fund Humanities.
