It is important to be able to integrate results of academic research from several sources in order to develop theory and evidence-based interventions. Sometimes systematic reviews, meta-analyses or synthesis methods for qualitative evidence can be used to achieve this information synthesis, while in other cases more advanced techniques are needed.

Information synthesis allows us to develop theory and evidence-based interventions.

The Methods for Information Synthesis research line has three sub-fields:

  1. Systematic reviews of quantitative and qualitative evidence
  2. Informative hypotheses and replication: Bayes and Frequentistic
  3. Bayesian methods for circular data
