About

Science for Life is a collaboration of research groups from Utrecht University and the Utrecht University Medical Centre (UMC Utrecht), in the fields of molecular, cellular and pharmaceutical sciences as well as plant biology. We operate in close interaction with the Hubrecht Institute and Princess Maxima Center and aim to build a campus-wide community for fundamental life scientists, fostering high-level interdisciplinary research.

Science for Life is one of the six research communities of the strategic theme Life Sciences of Utrecht University. The strategic theme Life Sciences combines interdisciplinary research of Utrecht University’s Faculty of Science, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and Faculty of Medicine (UMC Utrecht).
