Regenerative medicine aims to tap into the body’s own capacities to repair and restore tissue and bring novel therapeutic benefit for both human and animal patients. The largest cluster of this promising field of research in the Netherland is located in Utrecht. We combine full bench to bedside capability with a variety of state of the art technologies, including biofabrication, gene editing, proteomics and imaging.

We're accelerating the development of regenerative therapies

In Utrecht, we have the full bench to bedside capability and focus on three areas: CardioRenal Tissue Regneration, Musculoskeletal Tissue Regeneration and Stem Cell & Organoid Biology. These are supported by a variety of technologies, including biofabrication, gene editing, proteomics and imaging. We have the capacity to combine scientific findings with advanced technologies in order to create novel therapeutic benefit for both human and animal patients.
