A so-called Google Air View Car, fitted with advanced air quality equipment by Utrecht University, measured the air quality on every single street in Copenhagen several times during a period of two years. After six million measurements, the Project Air View team, shared the final map.
The Exposome-Scan project, that builds on Exposome-NL and X-omics, has been awarded 3.2 million euros from the NWO Investment Grant Large programme. With the grant the researchers will build a unique and large-scale open facility for research into the so-called exposome.
On May 18 dr. Pieter Vader received the Prix Galien Research award for young pharmaceutical researchers. The award and the Pharmaceutical, Medtech and Covid19 award were handed out during Dutch Health Week.
Start-up company NanoCell Therapeutics, which develops a nanomedicine to cure cancer and other diseases, establishes its home base on the Utrecht Science Park.
