Graduate Program Game Research

Students get the opportunity to propose their own PhD research project.

Introduction

Within the graduate program Game Research we supervised selected master students. As part of the program, we excellent students were offered a PhD position on a research project, written by themselves, as part of the research institute. In total, four PhD positions were offered, and in September 2015, these students started their PhD trajectory.

PhD Phase

In the PhD phase, students perform the research they have proposed in the project proposal, under the guidance of two supervising professors who are attached to the research in the institute. PhD students will also follow a personalized training and supervision program of at least 20 ECs.

The PhD positions in the graduate program Game Research are funded by the NWO Graduate Program funding instrument.
