XS grants from SSH Open Competition for six FSBS researchers

NWO has selected no fewer than six researchers from the Faculty of Social and Behavioural Sciences to receive a grant from the SSH Open Competition XS pilot. These are grants of up to €50,000, which are intended to make it possible for scientists in the Social Sciences and Humanities (SSH) to elaborate their promising ideas and innovative and risky initiatives.

Researchers with a promising idea who completed their doctorate between five and ten years ago are eligible to apply for this grant if they have a permanent position. There are two opportunities remaining this year:

  • round 3: deadline on 9 February 2023
  • round 4: deadline on 20 April 2023
