Bart Endhoven is a PhD candidate at the department of Clinical Psychology since October 2019. His main interest is bridging the gap between science and clinical practice. Bart combines his postdoctoral clinical training at Altrecht Academic Anxiety center with his PhD project. This project focusses on testing the effectiveness of procedures to weaken threat memories and -expectancies in anxiety disorders. This project is funded by a VICI grant awarded to prof. dr. Iris Engelhard ‘A new approach to fear reduction by disrupting reconsolidation of treat memories’. Bart Endhoven is supervised by prof. dr. Iris Engelhard, Suzanne van Veen, and dr. Suzy Matthijssen.
