Working in four domains

The strategic theme Dynamics of Youth has four research domains that span the entire development from conception to emerging adulthood (ages -1 to 24). Within the four domains we address issues relevant for young people to navigate the world, for opportunities to be equitable and high-quality, both now and in the future. The four research domains are:

The Dynamics of Youth domains are crucial to achieve the aims and ambitions defined in its 2021-2025 strategic plan. Based largely on the Strategy Evaluation Protocol (SEP) 2021-2027, Dynamics of Youth defined four impact areas it wishes to contribute to: Research impact, Societal impact, Capacity building, and Sustainability. More details on our strategic course and research domains can be found in the 2021-2025 Strategic Plan.

Getting in touch

Each domain has two or three domain chairs who collaborate on research projects with researchers from all faculties as well as with social partners.
