The DiYo project is a long-term study of the role that social media use and gaming have in the lives of youths. The project has been running since February/March 2015 and involves an annual questionnaire in that period.

The results of this large-scale national research give us the opportunity to examine the positive and negative consequences of using social media and playing games for the psychosocial well-being and school performance of young people. This research is carried out by researchers from the Department of ISS: Cultural Diversity & Youth at Utrecht University.
