- Prof. dr. Hans de Bresser is full professor in the Experimental Rock Deformation group, with a special interest in the geometry, kinematics and dynamics of rock structures (nature and experimental), microstructural analysis, sustainable use of the subsurface, and the Earth Sciences teaching and learning environment.
- Dr. André Niemeijer is associate professor with a special interest in fault and earthquake mechanics. Dr. Niemeijer is also Head of the Experimental Rock Deformation laboratory (HPT lab).
- Dr. Suzanne Hangx is associate professor at the HPT lab with a special interest in sustainability, in particular safe production and storage of geo-energy.
- Dr. Wenzhuo Cao is an Assistant Professor at the HPT Lab with expertise in geomechanics, coupled subsurface processes, and induced seismicity, particularly in geo-energy and geo-storage systems
- Prof. Christopher (Chris) Spiers is Emeritus Professor at the HPT lab, with a special interest in the mechanical and transport properties of rock materials and the effects that fluid-rock interactions have on these properties.

Senior Reservoir Geomechanics Scientist- Dr. Peter Fokker is a Senior Reservoir Geomechanics Scientist in the team “Geoscience & Technology” of TNO and a guest researcher at the Department of Earth Sciences.

- Dr. Jan ter Heege Is Team Lead Geomechanics at TNO. He aims to facilitate innovative research on topics such as hydrogen storage, induced seismicity, geothermal energy, CO2 storage, subsidence and well integrity.

- Brecht Wassing is a researcher at the geomechanics group of the TNO Geoscience & Technology department, I am involved in research related to topics such as hydrogen storage, geothermal energy, CO2 storage and mining.

- Dr. Loes Buijze is a researcher in the geomechanics group of the TNO Geoscience & Technology department. She is Lead Scientist of the Market Theme Induced Seismicity and involved in geomechanical modeling and microseismic monitoring of induced seismicity, as well as induced seismicity research coordination and project acquisition.
