Introduction season 2

In this introductory episode Dr. Tessa Diphoorn and Dr. Brianne McGonigle-Leyh reflect on the first season and look ahead of season 2. They talk about the milestones, their favorite moments, and the variety of guests, ranging from literary scholars to geologists, and from legal scholars to economists. They also ask themselves: what have we learned and what can we expect?

The first goal of the podcast was to learn more about interdisciplinarity. How can travelling concepts facilitate or obstruct interdisciplinarity? Who are using travelling concepts and in what way? In addition, they discuss the use of the podcast for educational purposes, because the podcast series can be helpful for students in understanding a particular concept as well as interdisciplinarity more generally.
