A brief introduction

The software AUTO can be used to solve continuation and bifurcation problems in ordinary differential equations.

subject to boundary (including initial) conditions and integral constraints.  Above, p denotes one or more free parameters.

A simple example

AUTO can easily compute stationary solutions of the cusp normal form equation

locating saddle-node bifurcations of these solutions, and the continuation of a saddle-node bifurcation in two parameters.
