Utrecht University offers support when knowledge developed by researchers is suitable for marketing, or if they want to start their own enterprise.  

UtrechtInc.

UtrechtInc. provides advice and support to entrepreneurs and startups within the university and beyond at the start of their enterprise, as well as information about business accommodation and grants for startups. For the most part these startups are initiated by recent graduates and employees of Utrecht University, Utrecht University of Applied Sciences and UMC Utrecht, but they also include innovative startups from across the Utrecht region. UtrechtInc is a joint venture of Utrecht University of Applied Sciences, UMC Utrecht, Rabobank Utrecht, the City of Utrecht and the Province of Utrecht.

UTRECHT HOLDINGS

Researchers at Utrecht University who have created a patentable invention which they wish to market commercially can seek advice and support from Utrecht Holdings. Utrecht Holdings works closely together with the Utrecht Valorisation Center. Utrecht Holdings manages and exploits Utrecht University and UMC Utrecht patents and invests in spin-off companies. Since it was founded in 1998, Utrecht Holdings has established many successful companies and licensed patents to existing companies.

UTRECHT CENTER FOR ENTREPRENEURSHIP

Utrecht Center for Entrepreneurship (Utrecht CE) provides courses and events for students and researchers in the area of entrepreneurship, management and business economics. Businesses and institutions can also use the services of Utrecht CE.
