Stay Cool Kids?!

Alles Kidzzz

The individual school-based social cognitive training Stay Cool Kids?! (Alles Kidzzz in Dutch)  aims to prevent conduct disorders in children 9 – 12 years of age with externalising behaviour problems. Selected children learn to improve their social cognitions, self-esteem and anger management and to develop alternative prosocial behaviours. The intervention consists of eight weekly 45-minutes meetings with the child at school during school time. The trainer also meets the parents and teacher before and during the intervention.

Sabine Stoltz (2012) has studied the intervention with an RCT and it proved to be effective for all children and in particular for boys with a migration background.
