CAS awards

To recognize an outstanding research achievement by a Ph.D. student CAS is awarding a yearly prize for the best article (‘CAS article award’). The article prize concerns articles which have been published in the previous academic year.
The award for the best dissertation is given once every two years by CAS to recognize outstanding scholarship in doctoral dissertation research. The dissertation award concerns dissertations which have been defended in the two previous academic years. Innovation, scientific importance and – quality, and societal impact are just a few examples of the criteria applied by the assessment committee.
Both prizes are awarded at the CAS Research Day in spring.
