A dedicated and well-equipped biotechnology laboratory positioned on the 8th floor of the Kruytgebouw where students from different programs can experience state-of-the-art research in an interdisciplinary environment. Students are given the opportunity to co-develop a research project in collaboration with experienced researchers, technicians, and lecturers.

Our mission is to facilitate training of academic professionals to develop skills and acquire knowledge that will enable them to work as authentic researchers in a collaborative setting.
As early as the undergraduate phase, students can learn by experiencing research in the most realistic environment. For this, bachelor research projects are developed together with researchers located throughout the Utrecht Science Park. Also at the master level, this laboratory provides an opportunity for experimental work in master courses.
