Tools for Culture of Care
Conversation tools
We strive to contribute to a safe working environment where everyone involved in the design and implementation of animal experiments feels free to discuss issues. At various stages during the animal experiments, we engage in dialogue with researchers, laboratory animal caretakers and biotechnicians. We start during the project application phase, continue when coordinating the work protocol, and also during the audit visits to the department.
In addition, various tools have been developed for the laboratory animal chain that can help to facilitate or initiate dialogue.

Leiden University's Wellbeing Conversation Tool is a useful resource for discussing the wellbeing of employees.

Tools for animal welfare
