After the adoption

Once a year, we send out a survey to ask adopters how they experienced the adoption process and how the animals are doing. This information helps us learn more about how lab animals age outside the lab and how we can improve our adoption process.

Rats and mice

We have made additional information available for rats and mice. We have created a Prezi (interactive presentation) in which you can read about rat behaviour and how you can best help your ex-lab rats get used to their new environment. 

If your rat or mouse is not feeling well, it is useful to be able to recognise this. We have created a video for this purpose. In the video, we explain how you can recognise if your rat or mouse is ill.
