About the University Hall

The University Hall, located in the central Dom Square, is the heart and public face of Utrecht University. Students graduate here and defend their PhD theses, while professors deliver their inaugural lectures. It is a place of debate, lectures and conferences. Annually, the University Hall attracts some 100,000 to 200,000 visitors.
