The University Council is a chosen group of students and staff members who represent all UU people’s interests. The council meets with the Executive Board, advises and has decision-making power over important topics. The University Council elections will take place from 12 - 14 May.
Why vote?
Your vote determines who represents you and who has decision-making power on your behalf over topics such as education, finance, sustainability and student well-being. The higher the turnout during the elections, the better the University Council represents the interests of all UU students and staff.

PvdUS
The PvdUS stands up for all active students in Utrecht – from sports and study associations to social clubs. No extreme political ideals, but realistic choices that really help student interests. Getting the most out of your student days, that is our core.
RUPS
RUPS wants you to always be allowed to compensate for failing grades, to end the Spar monopoly at the Science Park, and to make Utrecht University a safer and fairer place.
SCU
Student Coalition Utrecht wants practical improvements in education and campus life, along with a university that actively takes on its social responsibility.
VSP
VSP stands for a university culture in which academic freedom flourishes within an open climate of debate that welcomes diverse perspectives.
