What do you like most about your current job?
The creativity involved in thinking about radically different ways of distributing income and wealth to build a more just society.
How did University College Utrecht prepare you for your life after the study?
The University College Utrecht education with its focus on paper writing and presentations prepared me very well for a career in academia, as those skills are crucial there.
What is you best memory of University College Utrecht?
Living on campus with your fellow students is an amazing experience. I am really glad I got that chance.
Do you have any advice for current or future students?
Just follow your interests when you choose your courses and don't worry too much about the future. I took a very strange combination of courses: Economics and Religious Studies, with some Latin and Greek. At the time, some people were worried that the combination would lack coherence, but in the end, when I did a PhD in Philosophy, it somehow all came together.
