Interdepartmental Major

Interdepartmental & Double Majors

To students who have the ambition to assemble a program beyond the possibilities of the three majors UCU offers the option to declare an interdepartmental major or a double major.

An interdepartmental major is a combination of at least ten related courses in two or three departments. In addition the major requirements of both departments must be satisfied, and you must complete a research thesis in one of the departments concerned.

For a double major you complete two full majors in two departments. To obtain a degree with a double major you must satisfy all the major requirements of the departments concerned.
