The essentials about us in a nutshell.

University College Utrecht was founded in 1998 as the first university college in the Netherlands.

Every year we offer around 230 courses in Humanities, Social Sciences and Science, representing more than 20 different academic fields. We also have Double Degree programmes in Law and Physics. Our classes have 20 students on average.

We have 250 places for incoming students and receive around 1,000 applications per year.

We have around 750 students in total. In 2021, 70% of them were female, %29 were male and 1% identified as other.

There are nearly 70 different nationalities on campus. In 2021, 309 of the students were Dutch. The next best represented nationalities are German, French, Italian and Spanish.

181 students received their BA or BSc degree in Spring and 42 students in Fall 2021.

We have more than 50 partner universities around the world. In Spring 2021, we received 50 exchange students, and 43 of our students went on exchange.
