Getting a handle on polarisation in science education
For a healthy democracy, it is essential to be able to disagree respectfully with one another and to engage in dialogue about the content based on “positive polarisation”. However, in practice, this seems to be becoming increasingly difficult. Through the further development and evaluation of an educational digital dialogue platform, this project contributes to the exchange of perspectives on sensitive topics and provides more insight into how we can promote positive polarisation and counteract negative polarisation.
