See It, Think It, Build It: Discover Design Thinking (DT)
Ever wondered how school lunch programmes could be redesigned to help kids eat healthier? Or why electric toothbrushes focus on simple, helpful features instead of tracking every brushing detail?
Every day, fresh thinking is needed to solve complex problems and make life better. Design thinking—a structured approach to creativity—helped IDEO discover that food wasn’t the main issue in school lunches, but rather the need for age-appropriate dining experiences. Similarly, Future Facility found that too much detailed data on hygiene habits could increase user anxiety.
In this workshop series*, you’ll experience design thinking firsthand—learning how to uncover real needs, generate creative solutions, and test what works.
Join any session to build specific skills, or take the full series to develop a complete problem-solving toolkit.
*The duration and scope of each module depend on the workshop focus. Sessions can range from a quick 1.5-hour introduction to a three- or five-part deep dive, while the subtopics covered remain consistent.
