Chiara Palmeri

Hi, I’m Chiara Palmeri, a third-year Italian student of English Language and Culture at UU. I’m proud to be the first student ambassador for Playground at the Faculty of Humanities. My journey with them began through my Cat Café Project, where I had the opportunity to try and launch one at the Utrecht Science Park. I also had the chance to document the process step by step on their blog.

Being an ambassador has been an incredibly rewarding experience so far. The team is so supportive, and they always organise fun, engaging activities that help me connect with new people. Entrepreneurship is something I’m really passionate about—it’s all about discovering new possibilities and finding a community of people who are ready to support any idea, no matter how big or small. 

While my project didn’t quite turn out as planned, the process taught me so much about myself and gave me invaluable skills that I know will benefit me in the future. My advice? Keep going, no matter what. You can find me on LinkedIn.
