Mathematical Institute

The Mathematical Institute of Utrecht University covers a broad range of active areas of research. We aim for a stimulating research environment with ample opportunity for interaction between different fields.

This interaction is not restricted to areas within mathematics; contacts with physics, biology and technological applications play an equally important role in several of our research activities.
