Migration and cultural diversity

Within the key theme of Migration and cultural diversity, we conduct research into:

• cultural diversity, identities, and relations and conflicts between groups;
• inclusion, participation of newcomers, and transnationalism;
• international migration.

Immigration and the cultural diversity that comes with it often give an extra boost by enriching society, but they also often lead to tensions that can threaten democracy and social cohesion.
