From a quick snack to a three course meal, every day we make decisions about what we eat… meat or fish? How about the vegetarian option? Or the vegan option? Where was it produced? How was it produced?
We ask these kinds of questions several times a day and if we make sustainable choices it can be one of the easiest ways to lead a more sustainable lifestyle. Whether it’s reducing the amount of meat and fish we eat, committing to eating more local produce or trying to cut down on packaged food, small changes can have a big impact.
The Green Canteen (formerly known as Meat Free Mondays) campaign aims to raise awareness of how can we make sustainable food choices as well as looking at how UU can support these sustainable decisions.
