PhD Intro Course: Taking Charge of Your PhD

For GSNS PhD candidates in their first few month of PhD. 

The GSNS Intro course aims to provide you with the tools to kickstart your PhD.  

In two sessions you will: 

  • meet other starting PhD candidates within our faculty & share experiences
  • learn about your rights and responsibilities as a PhD candidate
  • be guided through the necessary practical & administrative steps at the beginning of your PhD
  • learn about existing training possibilities as well as support for PhD candidates within the graduate school, faculty & university

We will further touch upon: 

  • Development of competences during your PhD
  • Efficient communication & collaboration with your supervisory team
  • Project planning & management
  • Do's & Don'ts for PhD candidates 

Course Schedule & Registration 

The training consists of two sessions (Monday morning & Thursday afternoon).
