Communications Office

The Communications Office is part of the University Corporate Offices and supports the Executive Board, the faculties and the service departments in developing and implementing policy concerning the university's communications and education marketing.

The Communications Office combines strategy, policy and implementation. It supervises the university's communications and marketing policy, periodically updates it in close cooperation with the faculties, and develops new initiatives at university and faculty level.

Organisation

The management is organised along four clusters representing different result areas. The clusters are:

  • Corporate Affairs: for strengthening UU's (international) reputation in the field of education and research;
  • Relationship Management and University Fund (Ufonds): for strategic relationship management (incl Protocol Affairs), alumni policy and fundraising;
  • Marketing: for sustainable targeted and personalised student recruitment;
  • Communications: for strengthening a resilient and innovative community.
