Veterinary Research Groups

Departmental research groups contribute to the research programmes from their own perspective ensuring state-of-the-art and continued high quality of the respective research disciplines. The research group consists of one or more of the faculty’s chairs and the research personnel associated with these chairs. The research group meets regularly to discuss the research direction in relation to the programme’s research strategy and to organise research at the group level effectively. In addition, the research group and the IVR management communicate on strategic aspects of research and research performance at the group level.
The faculty of Veterinary Medicine allocates an annual, task-related research budget to 24 departmental research groups for their contribution to the IVR research programmes.
