Regenerative Orthopedics

Our mission is to transform osteoarthritis of the limbs and spine into a non-chronic condition for both veterinary and human patients. Our goal is to treat and reverse the pathological causes and symptoms of joint damage, enabling patients to live without restrictions. We employ a multimodal approach that induces regeneration, and targets the underlying mechanisms of joint degeneration, inflammation, and pain. To support this, we develop advanced technologies for gait analysis.

We design and translate therapeutic strategies using our unique, 3R-committed infrastructure and tools, addressing the full trajectory of osteoarthritis—from the earliest stages through disease progression—while aiming to prevent end-stage joint damage, specifically in dogs, horses, and human patients. Current pain treatments for osteoarthritis, such as oral opioids and NSAIDs, are often ineffective at delaying or preventing surgery. However, targeted local drug delivery can help patients stay comfortable longer. By reducing inflammation and providing durable implants using advancing biofabrication technologies, we aim to prevent osteoarthritis progression and intervene early—before severe joint damage occurs.
