Infectious Diseases and Immunology
The Division of Infectious Diseases and Immunology (I&I) is part of the Biomolecular Health Sciences department of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine.
Mission
The Division of Infectious Diseases and Immunology aims to increase and disseminate knowledge of clinical veterinary infectious diseases, immunology, infection biology and virology. In doing so, the department aims to contribute to solving problems such as the increasing global demand for food, antibiotic resistance and the growing threat and burden caused by infectious diseases and chronic inflammatory diseases.
How do we do this?
The Department of Infectious Diseases and Immunology provides education and conducts applied research in the field of clinical infectious diseases and molecular infectious diseases.
