Funding orientation phase
Once you have an initial research plan developed, you should now start looking for financial resources in the funding orientation phase. This pertains finances to perform your research - including a budget you will need for data management, societal impact, and open science.
Please note that Utrecht University and the Faculty of Geosciences have financial support available for the proposal writing itself, provided that Utrecht University is the project coordinator.

Support and contact via Utrecht University
The Research Support Office network of Utrecht University offers extensive support for its researchers through the Research Funding Academy. You can find information about research funding orientation on intranet, as well as specific information about large-scale programmes at Utrecht University. The Executive Board of Utrecht University has established a set of general principles which all agreements concluded by Utrecht University must comply with.
Research ConnectFunding database
Utrecht University has a subscription to access the ResearchConnect Funding database. You do not need a specific username and password to search in ResearchConnect. Use the option 'Login via my institution', type 'Utrecht', select 'Universiteit Utrecht' and login using your SolisID.
Information and support for Geoscientists
In addition to Utrecht University’s support programme, the Faculty of Geosciences has set up an additional support fund to financially support the coordination and writing of multi-partner project applications.
