Become a Student Ambassador
Do you want to help promote your Master’s programme to prospective students and build your CV? Then the Student Ambassador Programme is a perfect fit for you!
What is the Student Ambassador Programme?
- As a Student Ambassador you join a variety of activities in which you promote your Master’s programme and help prospective students in their search for a Geosciences study programme. Share your personal experiences and answer questions about your Master’s programme or student life. A big plus: you will get paid for some of your efforts.
- On top of that, you get the chance to improve your content creation skills and become an ace Geo-reporter. Start writing your student testimonial, take photos of interesting field trips, shoot awesome behind the scenes footage or gain geo-related insights by interviewing staff and students. Submit your content pieces for a compensation.
- Your perspective as a Student Ambassador is also of great value to us. Take this chance to voice your opinion about student recruitment for your Master’s programme and help us implement your unique ideas.
This position is a good fit if you like to do something extra next to your studies, don’t shy away from sharing your experiences and talking to prospective students, and are enthusiastic about promoting your Master’s.
Responsibilities as a Student Ambassador
- You will join our plenary kick-off session on 16 September 2025, depending on your class schedule.
- You manage the online chat on your Master’s programme’s website and answer any questions prospective students might have.
- You are available for the Master’s Open Days, which take place on 8 October 2025 and 30 January 2026, and help us find an additional crew member for your stand.
- You host a ‘Student Experience’ on campus in which you introduce a prospective student to one of your lectures, give them a tour around campus and answer their questions. If you’re not available you will help find a different host for that day.
