The Faculty Club of... Erik Roelofs

In this section, our members tell something about themselves and why they are members of the Faculty Club. Erik Roelofs is a Communications Consultant at Communications & Marketing.

Why I became a member? I've already been involved in making quizzes and other fun activities for the Faculty Club for years. I love to go there, but only recently realised that I'm not a member of the Faculty Club at all yet... Although I've felt like a member for years, I'm now going to apply for real.

What do you do in your daily life?

I work at Communications & Marketing as an Online Consultant. Besides that, I live in Zeist with my (since recently) wife, (step)daughter and son.

What is your most fun memory of the Faculty Club?

I don't have to think on that for long! The show with my band Pyramid during the Midsummernight Party on 21 June 2018! What a party that was! Under the watchful eyes of the professors' portraits, we gave a dazzling show in the Senaatszaal. There was dancing until deep in the night!

What are you looking forward to the most?

That we can have fine drinks with colleagues again! And have fun pubquizzes again!

Do you have any suggestions for activities for the Faculty Club?

Some fun activities for the somewhat younger colleagues, although that's already being done quite often. But maybe promote a bit more, so the Faculty Club becomes more well known among new employees.
