Johan Rozenbrand is Assistant Professor Pharmaceutical Sciences. “I am happy with the rainbow bike path because it is a permanent thing. Every student or employee who comes to Utrecht Science Park sees it and thus indirectly thinks of diversity and LGBTIQ+. I think this helps with acceptance."

Johan told his UU colleagues in the late 1990s that he is attracted to men. His message to students: "If you would like to come out, you should do it as soon as possible, but only when you feel sure you are ready. After you've had your coming out, you can finally be yourself. Then everything in life will be easier!"
