“I believe that the quality of education benefits from a more diverse curriculum.”

For me diversity and inclusion mean that everyone belongs here feels good about it. The quality of education also rises if everyone’s fully engaged.

I’m personally very committed to diversity and inclusivity. I’m not a traditional student: I started in intermediate vocational education, worked my way through to higher vocational and now that I’m at the university, I miss the bond between students.

The best example I’ve seen was how Geosciences students started promoting diversity and inclusion and taking matters into their own hands so as to make their own curriculum more diverse and find solutions. That’s great to see. It’s something all students should do.
