• Personal financial contribution to the project
• Application up to the fifth year of USC membership. Project execution up to the sixth year of membership

Obligations / Deliverables

• A blog post on uscscholarshipfoundation.nl
• A final financial report of the grant expenditure
• A concluding article about your experiences

An application must include:

• Explanation of the study or research project
• Motivation letter
• A budget for the project
• A recent overview of academic results

Applications can be submitted twice per year:

• Round 3: 13 April to 8 May 2026
• Round 6: 2 November to 27 November 2026

You must submit your application via the grant portal of the Utrecht University Fund.

If the application, the applicant, and the project meet all the requirements, the application will be processed. Applications are assessed on substantive grounds, which are formulated and evaluated by the Allocation Committee. You can contact the assessor via assessor@usc.nl or +31 30 236 0810.
