Join the Hofvijverkring
Members of the Hofvijverkring commit to an annual (tax-deductible) contribution of €500 for a minimum period of five years. For mid-career alumni (aged 40 to 55), the annual donation is €200. For young alumni (aged 25 to 40), the annual donation is €120. The donation is set out in a donation agreement with the Utrecht University Fund, which manages the Hofvijverkring’s capital.
As a member of the Hofvijverkring, you will meet the academics supported by the circle at special gatherings and lectures. You will also receive invitations to various university events, such as the Dies Natalis and the Opening of the Academic Year. Furthermore, you will become a member of ‘1636’, the network of committed donors to the Utrecht University Fund.

For anyone who supports the Hofvijverkring with a donation of €500 per year: a miniature model of one of our historic university buildings.
You can choose between a miniature of the listed building at Drift 25, home to the Faculty of Humanities, or Janskerhof 3, home to the Faculty of Law, Economics and Governance (REBO). Both are limited to a run of 100.
