Who can apply for a grant?

The fund provides scholarships to students who meet the following criteria:

  • Promising students enrolled at Utrecht University who see their academic career jeopardized by financial challenges.
  • PhD students conducting research in the field of antibodies, antibody-based therapies or oncology.
  • We especially invite students whose lives have been touched in one way or another by cancer.

Grant applications 2025

You can apply for this fund twice a year. Round 2: 2 March to 28 March 2025 and in round 5: 15 September to 10 October 2025. Both students and researchers can apply for grants to the Genmab Jan van de Winkel Fund through the application portal. Before submitting an application, carefully read through the fund's criteria and make sure they are incorporated into your application
