Who can apply for a grant?

The scholarship supports promising Utrecht University students of any nationality or country of residence whose academic progress is at risk due to financial need. To be considered, applicants must meet all of the following criteria and clearly articulate their academic focus and research objectives in their application: 

• Be enrolled in a masters’ or doctoral program in a scientific field related to antibodies, antibody-based therapeutics, or oncology, with a demonstrated commitment to improving the lives of individuals affected by cancer or other serious illnesses.  
• Demonstrate financial need that may hinder their ability to continue or fully benefit from their graduate studies, where scholarship support would make a meaningful difference in advancing their academic journey.
• While not required, applicants are welcome to share personal experiences or stories that reflect how their lives have been touched by cancer.
